overview

Uganda

Uganda, officially the Republic of Uganda, is a landlocked country in East Africa. Uganda is also known as the "Pearl of Africa". It is bordered on the east by Kenya, on the north by South Sudan, on the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the southwest by Rwanda, and on the south by Tanzania. The southern part of the country includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria, which is also shared by Kenya and Tanzania.
Uganda is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, with fantastic natural scenery. Half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population is in Uganda. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forrest is one of only two remaining natural habitats and homes to these remaining mountain Gorillas. The source of Nile,National parks, the highest mountain range in Africa, the RuwenzoriMountains andone of the most powerful waterfalls in the world, Murchison Falls or perhaps the highest primate density in the world, in Kabale forest National park - Uganda has all this and more. It's a beautiful country with a great deal to offer.
Our fly-in safaris cross the Lake Victoria and after immigration stop in Entebbe, we fly to the south western corner of the country to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forrest. The gorilla trekking is a once in a life time experience that is done from the cosy comfort of luxury lodges.
