Overview

Lake Nyassa

Mozambique, officially the Republic of Mozambique, is a country in south eastern Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, Tanzania to the north, Malawi and Zambia to the northwest, Zimbabwe to the west and Swaziland and South Africa to the southwest. The capital city is Maputo, formerly known as Lourenço Marques. This country through its many years of civil war has now become restful but as a result many areas of the vast country are unexplored with little to no tourism areas in the inland. The coastal areas on the other hand are the jewel of the country.
